The North School’s Outdoor and Environmental Centre has excellent facilities and offers a wide range of educational and recreational activities for children and adults of all abilities. The centre houses Ashford’s only indoor climbing wall which at 10 metres is one of the tallest indoor climbing facilities in a Kent school and a farm unit. We also offer archery with fully qualified instructors, hands on animal encounters, craft workshops, pond dipping, bush craft skills and children’s parties.
The North School’s Outdoor and Environment Centre offers a range of fun activities and holiday programmes to suit every age.
We offer craft workshops, pond dipping, farm tours, family cookery, archery and climbing. At seasonal times we also offer Halloween and Christmas events.
We also cater for children’s birthdays and can offer parties on the climbing wall, on the farm or outside taking part in archery.
We run various events throughout such as Lambing Weekend in March and Carols with the Cows at Christmas as well as fundraising quiz nights and fashion shows.
In addition, we are also able to offer a wide range of corporate team building events, educational visits, evening courses, conference facilities and meeting rooms.
