English Teacher  :  Maternity Cover  -  Full Time (part-time considered for the right applicant)

We are looking to appoint an inspirational, committed and enthusiastic teacher who would like to share their passion for English with our students.  Our English Department is very well run with a strong, knowledgeable team who look forward to welcoming a new colleague to cover maternity leave.

Cover Supervisor37hrs per week, term time only plus 5 training days.  KR5 : £17,827 - £19,608 per annum, pro rata (pro-rata salary : £15,042 - £16,545pa)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive and committed person to join our highly regarded student support team within the school, supervising whole classes undertaking pre-prepared activities provided by a teacher.

Cover Supervisors oversee work that has been set in accordance with school policy and are expected to manage the behaviour of students throughout the lesson.

This role will also include some teaching assistant work.

If you have experience of working with children and are confident in managing and maintaining a focused environment, you will excel in working as part of this team.  This job allows for a large amount of autonomy in the classroom and would suit a  person looking for an exciting and rewarding job, possibly before embarking further in a career in teaching.
